We produce retail education events such as the IBD Summit, media events like the Electric Bike Media Event and the world’s largest 2-day OutDoor Demo. For cycling’s greatest enthusiasts we started Interbike by Invitation, rewarding bicycle retailers’ best customers with access to Interbike. We’re the largest contributor to Bikes Belong and we’re proud to be one of the largest supporters of the bike industry – where our efforts help change the world through cycling.

Our mission is simple: Get more people on bikes. Mike's Bikes was founded in 1964 as one of Marin County's very first Schwinn shops. In fact, it is rumored that our original store in San Rafael was home to some of the first mountain bikes in existence. Cycling has changed dramatically as the decades have rolled by, but Mike's Bikes has never wavered from our total dedication to the sport. Now with eleven stores, we're the largest local bike shop on the West Coast. Our focus is on delivering the best product in the industry to our customers. We live to create cyclists.
