The SMB Account Executive's primary responsibility is to generate new business through cold calling, lead follow-up and referrals for OneSource's products into small businesses typically with sales up to $250M.
Key Responsibilities:
*Aggressively pursue new business opportunities in assigned territory
*Utilizes in-house resources to contact past customers and prospects as well as new prospects to identify needs and generate new business
*Follows up on leads generated from the web site, telephone or direct mail activity in order to solve the customer’s problems and sell the product
*Maintains a high priority regarding client issues and aims to maximize client satisfaction
*Maintains quarterly contact with customers to identify new contacts and insure usability of the product
*Looks for opportunities through changes in clients needs to sell additional product. Always asks for referrals to uncover additional opportunities
*Effectively uses OneSource Business Browser and other resources to prospect for new business
Qualifications:
*BS Degree and at least 1 year of telemarketing or telesales experience
*Demonstrated ability to develop a new business pipeline or expand existing relationships
*High level of comfort with a technology driven, high-paced environment that requires ability to quickly synthesize multiple sources of data
*Basic technical knowledge and skill; Account Management System experience a plus
*Professional training in sales and prospecting and qualifying techniques a plus
*Strong verbal and written communication skills; skilled and active listener
*Highly organized, great with using new tools
