Description:

productive in their daily tasks. Our products and services support a
company’s vital business processes including serving their customers,
finding and leveraging new opportunities, and working with suppliers and
partners.
OneSource is looking for an experienced product marketing manager. The
role has responsibility for the success and growth of the OneSource
product line in general and more specifically in the regions outside the
US. The focus of the role is uncovering, specifying and bringing to
market significant new product initiatives as well as incremental value
to existing offerings. The PMM will work closely with other key teams at
OneSource, including the executive staff, product marketing managers,
product managers, development and sales professionals.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Be a key participant in the OneSource market assessment
and product planning process.
- Analyze, define and monitor market segments through regular
market research and observation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors with ability to
interpret and communicate the impact of product & service capability changes
among competitors.
- Maintain frequent contact with our customer’s business and
technical functions.
- Lead the development, confirmation and validation of product
requirements. Work closely with internal stakeholders (including Support,
Product Consultants, Sales, etc.) to understand key requirements.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging plans for US products
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing on “go to market”
initiatives.
- Take a central role in the development and delivery
of sales training.
- Assist in developing materials needed to support sales.
Required skills:

Ability to assess and prioritize market needs and
develop into requirements.

Define product roadmaps by maintaining a detailed
understanding of the functional requirements of our customers.

Ability to identify, understand, prioritize, plan
and articulate market and customer requirements.

Maintain familiarity with existing and emerging
technologies and standards in order to understand their relevance to
customers and our roadmap.

Be a key member of the OneSource product strategy
team. This cross-functional team of senior executives, sales,
services, and development staff are responsible for reviewing and
prioritizing the development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- College degree in either business or technical field. MBA
strongly desired .
- Experience in B2B Financial Services (commercial lending
and/or insurance) desired.
- Track record of success in business-to-business product
planning and execution (3-5 years experience).
- Strategic vision: identify, deduce and understand business
trends along any number of dimensions, i.e., customer applications, competitors,
content, and technology.
- Experience in the business information market is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills in
order to leverage resources not under your authority.
- Strong team orientation.
