The Solution Manager primary focus will be to prospect, develop, and
close new business opportunities for the OneSource solution offering to
large, strategic customers.
The following will be the areas of focus:
· Establishing executive-level credibility through a deep understanding
of industry issues and an expertise in the OneSource solutions offering.
· Communicating and delivering on the OneSource solutions value
proposition to key decision makers in a way that generates a powerful,
positive and lasting impression.
· Providing leadership to colleagues on the Professional Services team
through the selling process and delivery of customer-specific solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute account/opportunity plans using at least one
high-level selling methodology (TAS, Holden, Miller-Heiman, etc.).
· Leverage cold calling, existing relationships, and references to
develop a strong pipeline of business.
· Negotiate terms and conditions that are favorable to both OneSource
and the customer.
· Through consistent use of CRM system, forecast and track sales
revenues and activities in a timely manner.
· Stay up-to-date with and communicate market developments, new,
competitive offerings and industry vertical trends.
· Lead cross-functional, virtual teams and work with sales colleagues in
a collaborative manner.
· Work with customers to measure and assess the achievement of explicit
business outcomes.
· Share lessons learned with other members of the Account Team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in related field.
· At least 5 years of high-value solution selling experience in a
business to business environment.
· Experience teaming with a professional services organization to build
and propose solutions.
· Demonstrated success in developing CXO-level relationships in a
similar environment.
· High level of comfort with a technology-driven, fast-paced environment
that requires ability to quickly synthesize multiple sources of data.
· Proven track record of overachievement working in or selling to the
defined industry vertical.
· Experience managing a complex sales process.
· Board-level presence and ability to build strong trust and
credibility.
· Very strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
· Stable progressive work history.
