OneSource Unveils Ground-Breaking Product Enhancement To Increase Sales Effectiveness

CONCORD, Mass., October 18, 2004 -- Extending its commitment to improve the effectiveness of sales professionals, OneSource Information Services, a Donnelley Group company of infoUSA (NASDAQ: IUSA), today announced two innovative business information offerings that dig into thousands of documents and websites, extracting expert evaluations of company strengths and weaknesses, important corporate relationships, and in-depth backgrounds on hundreds of thousands of executives.

Company Insights and Executive Insights are two premium add-ons for the OneSource® Business BrowserSM product line and AppLinkSM Software Development Kit. They are the first of a new wave of information modules employing pattern recognition and linguistic technologies to distill valuable but hard-to-find information from unstructured sources. Now sales, marketing, financial services and consulting professionals can easily uncover key insights buried within thousands of unstructured text reports and web sites.

Having this quick and easy access to highly relevant information prepares OneSource users to establish a unique rapport with their prospects and customers. Using the Company Insights and Executive Insights modules, users can gain a more potent understanding of the issues, background, and connections that create competitive advantage, and can quickly earn trusted-advisor status with their customers and prospects.

Executive and Company Insights
The Executive Insights module adds over 400,000 VP and director-level contacts to OneSource’s existing repository of 2 million US executive contacts to address a sales organization’s need to quickly identify executives at multiple organizational levels and responsibilities. In addition, the Executive Insights module employs web-mining technology to add enhanced biographical information such as work history, professional affiliations, attributed articles and quotes, education background and compensation for many contacts. This fielded, searchable data enables sales professionals to build familiarity with key decision-makers, and to uncover connections within multi-level decision-making groups.

OneSource product lines include Business Browser information subscriptions, SynergySM embedded content offerings and Catalyst SM 3rd party integration modules. Pricing and Availability

Both the Executive Insights and Company Insights modules will be available as add-ons to OneSource Business Browser and AppLink Software Development Kit subscriptions in Q4 2004. Pricing is on a per-seat annual subscription basis, with volume discounts.
