Founded in 1970, Athens Christian School is an interdenominational Christian school with more than 700 students. The school is approved by the Georgia Accrediting Commission and is located in Athens, Ga. Its kindergarten students learn the phonetic method of reading along with math, writing and other skills. It prepares the high school students for college and career. In addition to advanced placement courses, a wide variety of sports, music, drama, speech and extracurricular activities are also provided. It offers sport activities, such as football, cross country, track, baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball.
