   Feb. 23-- Bryan's David Jones and Laura Hawk will be back at the UIL State Wrestling Tournament on Friday at the Austin ISD's Delco Center. A&M Consolidated senior Wes Cox is the Region IV alternate at 170 pounds. Bryan's pair of state qualifiers admit to significant nervousness in their first state appearance last season.

   Dec. 16-- Bryan wrestling coaches found Jenna Goen while seeking a practice partner for promising newcomer Laura Hawk. This season Goen is one of three unbeaten Viking wrestlers as Bryan prepares to host the 15th Doc Hess Invitational on Saturday. Hawk wrestled at Clear Brook High School before transferring to Bryan last year.
