Based in Auburn, Ala., Lee-Scott Academy is a preparatory school that serves more than 600 students in grades prekindergarten through 12. It enrolls students from Auburn, Opelika and the surrounding communities. The schools curriculum includes reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, Bible, math, science and social studies. Teachers use a wide variety of resources, such as textbooks, trade books, leveled texts and computer software to enhance the school s curriculum. Its dedicated staff consists of an administrator, teacher, specialist and instructional assistants. Lee-Scott Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is a member of the Alabama Independent School Association and the Southern Association of Independent Schools.
