The Merced County Fair is a family event organized in July each year. It showcases a variety of items that includes scarecrows, wind chimes, window boxes, pedestal arrangements, decorated doors, confectionery, preserved foods, textiles, table settings and prints. The fair also displays a range of animals that includes swine, sheep, goats, rabbits, horses and dairy cattle.
